I think Conn included a ligature like this with some of the Pan Am model clarinets, so it might be one of those. I would guess that this dates to the pre-WWII era. It appears to solid nickel/silver. This will fit standard size hard rubber/plastic Bb soprano clarinet mouthpieces. This would have been rather ahead of its time for its era for two reasons. First, it is a single screw ligature, made in an era in which most ligatures were double screw style. Secondly, it is an inverted style ligature, meaning it is to be positioned with the screw at the top of the mouthpiece. This was also unusual for that time period. This ligature is in overall very good condition. There is a very tiny stress crack on the inside, opposite one of the screw sockets. As long as you refrain from overtightening it, I don't think this will present a problem. It has not been bent out of shape. The screw functions perfectly.
