There was a total of 31 legal tender world coins issued, all with bird themes. The dates on the encapsulated uncirculated coins ranged from the early 1970s up to 1980. Most if not all of the coins were minted by the Franklin Mint for various countries. A few are FAO issues. Some were of very low mintage and at least one, the super-rare 1980 cu-ni Bahamas flamingo $2 is thought to have been available only through Bird Coins of the World. (Most of these Bahamian coins had scarce to rare dates of 1979 or earlier but a precious few are dated 1980.) Actual Items Photographed. Please see my eBay store for similar bird coin lots. I discount shipping for multiple orders. About Condition and Grading: Most of my customers already understand the realities of buying ungraded banknotes and coins, but I am asking all potential customers to read this paragraph anyway for the sake of successful transactions: I am not a grading expert. I hold all items up to a light and describe any damage I see but occasionally, something may get past me. Since my low prices stay low because I have an "all sales final" policy and I sell large amounts of banknotes and coins, I do not offer "buyer remorse" or grading-disagreement refunds and returns. It is up to the buyer to study the photos and/or scans, ask questions, and decide the grade/condition. Of course, authenticity is always 100% guaranteed. IMPORTANT ADDRESS INFORMATION: TO MAINTAIN EBAY SELLER PROTECTIONS, I AM REQUIRED TO SHIP TO THE OFFICIAL EBAY ADDRESS THAT COMES UP WHEN I GET READY TO SEND AN INVOICE OR PRINT A SHIPPING LABEL. I CAN ONLY SHIP TO THAT OFFICIAL EBAY ADDRESS. I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY (OUTSIDE THE USA), so YOUR OFFICIAL ADDRESS must be WITHIN THE USA, no exceptions. My Seller FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions): Reading this now will save both of us time later because sellers are allowed some customization within their seller policies. Allergy Note: All lots come from a smoke free and cat free home but pre-owned items may have originated in different conditions. Cancellations: Anyone canceling more than one bid or requesting the cancellation of more than one purchase within a six-month period will be put on the blocked bidder list permanently out of fairness to all. Discounted Shipping: USA shipping only. I am happy to discount shipping on multiple purchases of similar weight if you message me to request a discounted invoice after your last auction concludes but before payment is sent. Please make this request through your “cart” or the eBay messaging system within 24 hours of the first win. Multiple large fragile items are not usually subject to this option because they often have to ship in separate boxes. Shipping and Return Policy: I can only ship to your official eBay address within the USA (the address that shows up when a seller looks at your eBay ID or tries to send you an invoice), no exceptions. I ship twice a week, usually on Monday and Friday so shipping can take up to four days from the time of payment. Please bear this in mind, as well as the post office transit time estimates, when looking at arrival dates. You will always receive a tracking number from the eBay shipping system. In more than 20 years, my return policy has not changed. All sales are final - no returns or refunds unless there is a serious question of authenticity or a gross error in the description. Refunds are not available for differences regarding banknote, coin and medal grading opinions. Payment Reminder: eBay automatically cancels a transaction when payment fails to arrive within the required period. ABOUT FEEDBACK: My top priorities are answering email, writing accurate descriptions and the fastest possible shipping for my schedule. Feedback is important but not my priority. I leave feedback only once or twice a month in large groups to save time. All of my auction descriptions and photos are copyrighted. Duplication without permission is prohibited.
