Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. ~~ this is one of several books and guides on the topics offishing, fly-fishing, fly tying...etc. that I am listing for sale ~~ Vintage 1984 paperback printing of The Orvis Fly-Fishing Guide by Tom Rosenbauer with Illustrations by Georgine MacGarvey published by The Lyons Press 246 pages This was owned by a fisherman and a fly and lure collector, has been read (at least partially), and used for reference. There are bumped and curling corners - the worst corner is shown in photo #10. There is darkening to the edges of the cover, which may be seen in photo #11. There is an under ¾" pen mark on the edge of the pages, which may be seen in photos #12 and #13. This pen mark is more easily seen when the book is bentcausing the pages to be fanned out. There are creases on the first few pages as shown in photos#14 through #17. Photo #18 shows a few creases/indentations on the front cover which are more easily seen from the inside of the cover. Photos #19 and #20 show dark spots or blobs which may bestains, but as there are also many small dark bits in the paperitself (as shown in the last photo) ... these may be more of the same - I cannot tell for certain.
