We special ordered the initial package pictured in this listing on September 17,1966 from Westmont Music Center, in Westmont, Illinois (See Original Invoice.) The set was played for several years and packed away for the future - About 46 years, in the future... Carefully stored for these many years - The Shells, Wrap and Chrome hardware are in GREAT condition, considering these drums were built 50 plus years ago... The Rogers Bass, Floor Tom & Upper Tom face heads are the original ones provided when new... The entire configuration consists of the following ORIGINAL hardware: (1) 5 x 14 Dyna-Sonic Metal Snare Drum - S#8975(2) 8 x 12 Tom Tom - Holiday (Cleveland) - S#10850 & S#11774(1) 16 x 16 Floor Tom - Holiday (Dayton) - S#67030(1) 14 x 20 Bass Drum - Holiday (Cleveland) - S#12056(1) "Giant" Snare Stand - #4012(2) "Pro" Floor Cymbal Stands with Swiv-O-Matic Tilter - #4403(1) Swiv-O-Matic Hi-Hat Stand with Hinged Heel - #4401(1) Swiv-O-Matic Foot Pedal with Hinged Heel - #396(1) Swiv-O-Matic Dual Tom Tom Holder - #366(1) Drum Key - #4409(2) 14" Zildjian Hi-Hat Cymbals(1) 19" Zildjian Ride Cymbal(1) 20" Zildjian Sizzle Cymbal - Factory Predrilled with rivets bagged(4) Felt lined Soft Drum Cases(1) Black Trap Case and a free, non-original back-up throne The four soft drum cases were folded and stored separately thus they appear as new - The drums were wrapped individually in soft cotton sleeves and not in their respective covers - The cymbals were also stored in their individual cotton wraps... The original Trap case is included but not pictured as well as a back-up Throne... The Rogers catalog will be retained, though page copies of specific items as well as a copy of the ORIGINAL sales invoice will be provided... This exceptional set certainly holds-it's-own among the family of remaining survivors. The items we know of that are less than perfect are as follows: *** The Dual Tom mounting plate on the Bass Drum is missing a chrome bolt/washer/nut*** Two washers are missing for the Bass Drum lower claw tension rods (The above two issues probably occurred in the 70's when the drums were detailed and prepped for long-term storage)*** The chrome mounting bracket for the foot pedal can be re-chromed*** Though not obvious, some random pitting can be found*** A small separation on the Bearing Edge of the Base Drum (Image provided)*** A smaller separation on the Bearing Edge of one of the Upper Toms (Image provided)*** Some rust on the inner Floor Tom screws and dampening mechanism which we are addressing (Image provided)*** A single ding on the side of Floor Tom and two dings a bit further around the side (Two Images provided) REGARDING SHIPPING - NO SHIPPING OPTION IS OFFERED...!
