Photographer Lejarsen à Hiller posed a young woman writing a letter to send to a soldier by V-mail. V-mail was a system where letters were photographed and then printed at their destination. The GIs in the background welcomed letters from home. The woman's pink dress, red lipstick, and nail polish are still colorful. Poster measures 21" x 28” and was issued as PX-73-RPB on 1-19-45.
