The 1033 is one of the staples of better sets in the postwar era--this is the 90 watt transformer that comes with direction control as well as whistle control. It was a big step up from the 25-45 watt transformers that came with many sets. This is a fine transformer to use with any postwar set whether Marx, Lionel, even American Flyer. And those black and orange handles really take you back!
