Description: An exceptionally rare stamp, in good condition, with its original gum. There's a light crease at the bottom, and hinge remnant is present, causing a frontal stain. Not many of this stamp survived at all, and is extremely hard to find for sale. This was the last of the stamp statute values to appear, created for the sale of Electoral Rolls by Registrars.There was a single printing of just 30,000 stamps created on 29th and 30th September 1879. Watermarked V1 sideways, Perf. 13 only.The quantity issued up until 1884, was just 4,552, the remainder of stamps produced was destroyed in 1885.This stamp is extremely scarce, even fiscally used.
