Description: Ergonomics is the process of designing work areas to be user friendly, using tools and equipment to reduce strain and/or repetitive motions and teaching employees proper work methods, correct posture and safe lifting techniques. Ergonomics training will increase productivity, decrease illness and injuries and increase satisfaction among the workforce. Ergonomic risk factors are found in jobs requiring repetitive, forceful, or prolonged exertions of the hands; frequent or heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of heavy objects; and prolonged awkward postures. Complete Leader's Guide contains the following printable items: Program Outline, Quiz & Answer Key, Training Log, Employee Certificate, Wallet Cards, and Site Specific Information. Place disc into DVD player to play video and place the disc into your computer to access the printable materials as well as the Power Point Presentation.
