Description: This is a Beautiful Hand Painted Vase with Reticulated Flowers, Made by Emil Fischer in Budapest, Hungary, Circa Early 1900's-1920's. The Hand Painted Flowers are done in Deep Pink, Lavender, and Ivory with Dark Maroon to Brown Stems, and Spring Green Foliage. There are Gold Highlights. Emil took over his Father, Ignac Fischer's Factory in the 1880's or 1890's (later taken over by the Zsolnay Factory.) The Vase measures 9” High x 5” Across. It is in Very Good Overall Condition; there is a small chip at the mouth (see pic 4 & 5). There is the usual crazing and gold wear that these have. There appears to be some black manufactures defect or tar on the bottom of the vase, I’m not sure if it is original to the vase or just residue from life as a vase! The Vase is Signed with made in Budapest, the numbers 6079 and a gold gilt “8”, presumably the price at that time. Not in bad shape for being over 100 years old!
