Description: Crude early wine or liquor bottle in exceptional near mint condition. 1830-1840 era, likely a New England glass house. I originally purchased this bottle from Dave Beeler, the photos are his. Please see his description in the photo gallery. Unusual size and just loaded with character and a nice jagged pontil. Civil War era 3-piece mold ink cylinder with a smooth base and applied tapered top. Absolutely loaded with hundreds of seed bubbles. Shiny nice mint condition. Never in the ground, never tumbled. Has a Glass Works Auctions label, formerly Durward Lamb collection. Shipping will be by USPS Ground Advantage with tracking and insurance. I ship only within the United States. Packing will be done professionally to ensure the bottle arrives in your collection in the same condition it leaves mine. I usually ship within 48 hours of payment; however, my work involves frequent travel and you will be promptly notified of any shipping delay. The shipping rate quoted is the maximum you will pay. I’m forced to list a higher rate to cover shipping to more distant regions; for example, from my home in Virginia to the west coast. Immediately after shipping I will promptly refund any overage more than 99 cents. The same holds true for multiple purchases shipped together. Thanks for taking a look. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
