Description: An antique Staffordshire Gaudy Welsh ironstone chinoiserie-style pitcher, with a man and a bird and a pagoda and gold gilding. This is rare decoration, and the pitcher is fairly large at just under 7.75 inches tall. There is some wear to the gilding, 2 spots of heavy glaze wear at the foot (the tip of the pen is pointing to them), a hairline at the rim near the handle, a short hairline that is visible only on the inside, and a short hairline visible on the outside (the pen is pointing to these too), and there may be a spider on the bottom but you can't feel it. The pitcher has heavy crazing and age-discoloration; I have not tried any of the known treatments for removing the stains. I'm selling the pitcher as-found and as-is. Please see the photos for details. Thank you for looking! o3 Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
