Antique flugelhorn Austria musical instrument needs work European Alto horn old

Description: I acquired this instrument from an elderly gentleman. I thought it was a French horn when I got it, but he immediately told me it was a flugelhorn. I don’t know anything about musical instruments so be prepared to be buying it off of a non-expert. This instrument has dents . I tried to take good pictures of anything that is dented but if I missed a dent, it wouldn’t be anything any bigger than what you see in the pictures… So be prepared to have this arrived to you it exactly as pictured condition. As is sold by a non-expert. As described. So the best way to evaluate this instrument is to look at the pictures and read the captions. Because this instrument will come to you exactly as pictured and described here in the description and in the photographs. make sure you look at the valves. The valves are as is. I really didn’t mess with them, but I know they’re stuck. But be prepared to work on the valves. I would assess this instrument as needing a good restoration. By somebody who knows how to fix instruments. Don’t purchase it thinking that it’s working or anything like that but if you’re good at fixing up instruments and are looking for a worthwhile project, I think this is worthwhile, but this is totally up to you to decide. What I am offering you is if you have any questions or any concerns I’m right here to answer any questions. And the questions could be about the condition which is as is as found sold by a non-expert. Also, please… No returns. This instrument is very, time-consuming to pack and to list. And it really is described nicely. As is for parts or restoration only. So please no returns. I will pack this thing beautifully. I had the perfect shipping box ready to go. It definitely needs to be cut down and customized, which I am excellent at doing. Plus, I’ll pack it with rigid styrofoam and excellent packing. So it will arrive to you exactly as pictured. And since I had the box, I really nailed it accurately for shipping. I’m shipping this FedEx, which is definitely going to be the cheapest price. So please no post office boxes. FedEx does not deliver to post office boxes. so bottom line is… I’m not an expert in musical instruments sold by a non-expert… Exactly as pictured… As is for parts or restoration only please no returns.
