The key is made out of solid brass and weighs 1.0 ounces by itself and measures approximately 3.0" long, 1-5/16” wide across the “bow” or top and .50” at its widest across the “blade” or the shaft. Refer to description photos #7, #8, #9 and #10 to confirm the weight and size dimensions and for more details about what I have described. This vintage brass key is over 40 years old and looks to be in excellent condition. As can be confirmed in the description photos, the brass key bears witness to very little previous usage with very minor surface patina from honest age but nothing you wouldn’t expect to find or want to see on an authentic piece of jail/prison memorabilia like this.
