I have been collecting comics for more than 40 years -- buying most of them when they were brand new, reading them once and putting them in bags. My grading scale is Near Mint (looks like it was just bought, any flaws are extremely minor), Very Fine (almost Near Mint, but just misses), Fine (misses by a little more), Very Good (shows evidence of handling and has notable flaws but none are disastrously awful), Good (more flawed, still a solid book for reading but that's about it), Fair (big problems) and Poor (horrible condition, trash it after reading it). Here is what you will get in this auction: This is a lot of seven DC Vertigo comic books. Details: ANIMAL MAN ANNUAL issue 1, 1993, FINE condition (some stress indents at spine). Cover by Brian Bolland, written by Jamie Delano, interior art by Russell Braun. This story tied in with the company-wide crossover "The Children's Crusade." VERTIGO VISIONS: DOCTOR OCCULT issue 1, 1994, FINE (some stress indents at spine). Cover by Kent Williams. Written by Dave Louapre, interior art by Dan Sweetman. HAPPYDALE DEVILS IN THE DESERT issue 2 (of 2), 1999, VERY FINE. This was a nice square-bound book with a wraparound cover and a $6.95 cover price. Written by Andrew Dabb, art by Seth Fisher. INDUSTRIAL GOTHIC issue 1, December 1995, VERY FINE. Written and drawn by the great Ted McKeever. STRANGE ADVENTURES issue 4 (of 4), February 2000, VERY FINE. Includes stories by Brian Azzarello & Essad Ribi, Gregory Benton, and John Ney Rieber & Danijel Zezelj. THE UNWRITTEN APOCALYPSE issue 1, March 2014, NEAR MINT. This was the followup series to "The Unwritten." The issues of this series were printed with nice glossy card-stock covers. By Mike Carey and Peter Gross. THE UNWRITTEN APOCALYPSE issue 2, April 2014, NEAR MINT. By Carey and Gross. You'll love them! ANOTHER GREAT COMICS AUCTION, FROM A PET-FREE, SMOKE-FREE HOME! .
