Both come in their original boxes. The Locomotive is in good condition, however the front grill fell off and a small part is still attached to the train. The whistle is attached and the bell is detached, but easy to put on. The matching New York Central tender car is in good condition with no flaws. There was a note on it that says the sound is weak and not clear, volume is good, back-up-internal battery may be bad. There might be missing a piece to connect the 2 cars.
