4/4 Antonius Stradiuarius Unbranded Violin, Bow, Antique? GSB Wooden Case AS-IS

Description: This listing includes a vintage? 4/4 German Antonius Stradiuarius violin made in Germany and a bow in what looks like an antique GSB wooden case. My daughter tested this violin and found that it plays as it should. She felt it had a nice sound. The body of the violin looks like it may have been refinished. It has a honey color, which I think is very pretty. There is some edgewear on the scroll. The neck and fingerboard are secure, and the soundpost is in place. The fingerboard has been painted, and paint is chipping in places. Please see pictures. At the bottom edge of the violin, I can't tell if the ribs and back are beginning to separate, or if it was already repaired. Please see pictures. The pegs turn easily and hold the instrument in tune as it is being played. There are 4 fine tuners on the tailpiece to make tuning easier. It's installed with new basic strings. The bow is in good used condition. It tightens and loosens as it should. The winding is loose. The hard case is also in obviously used condition with many signs of use. It is marked as GSB on the bottom z and perhaps NG on the top? The latches are hook and eye. The handle is a thick metal wire. The inside looks like it was perhaps wallpapered, but it now started to crack and is fairly brittle. The bottom of the inside has felt glued down. The latches still work fairly well. One of the hinges is a little loose, so the top wobbles. The outside of the wooden case has gashes and edgewear. Please see pictures.
