Description: This is a Very nice early 1878-1932 New York Knife Co / Hammer Brand "FANCY" Eureka Jack pattern knife. Not an easy pattern to find anywhere, and even by NYK makes this one extra special. It is a big knife measures 3-1/2" overall. Blades have been resharpened and do have stains typical of a nearly 100-year-old blade. The master blade also has a 2" double swedge or false edge, it appears it has been retipped and has a long nail pull on the top spine. It has gorgeous Peachseed bone scales in great condition with (it does have a small Factory cut, on the mark side), but no cracks, chips or any imperfections. It has a nice shiny Nickel Silver pinned Acorn shield. It also has brass liners and steel pins. It has embossed NYN Nickel Silver bottom bolsters and fancy fluted Nickel Silver top bolsters (see pictures). Truly a Sunday Best pocketknife of the day. Feel free to ask any questions I am listing a lot of rare vintage knives from a 65-year-3 generation collection, and I do list daily. Thanks for looking!
