Description: 15 Jerusalem Artichoke Bulbs (Helianthus tuberosus) Sunchoke Perennial. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. These are amazing plants. They are also edible to eat the bulbs of them. I started out with only about 5-10 bulbs around 6yrs ago. Every year I get 50+++ new bulbs that get pulled for sale. If you live on the west coast ~ I’m SUURE they would grow year round with no issues. I live in Massachusetts and so mine go dormant during winter months and bounce back to growing every spring. If you live on east coast you could keep them in fridge or start them indoors and then transplant them outside in the spring months.. I’ve had mine grow over 12ft tall b4.. truly amazing plants and they look like baby sized sunflowers that bloom every fall. I’d be curious to know how they grow on west coast..?. (If you happen to buy from me and live on west coast ~ I’d looove/appreciate seeing how they grow out there and if they do multiple blooms in your climate. Here in Massachusetts they only bloom once in fall. They are so gorgeous though and every year guaranteed to multiple lots more bulbs, once they are well established in your garden.. I look forward to these beautiful flowers, every summer/fall.. If you have any additional questions please shoot me a message. When you eat the bulbs they taste sorta like roasted nuts with a very interesting texture to them.. I’ve eaten them slightly sautéed.. I’ve tried a piece raw b4 too. But sauté was much better tasting.. again I’ll gladly answer any additional questions. Thanks so much..
